Operation Blankets of Love Collects & Distributes Items for Shelter Animals - Donate Old Blankets, Towels and Help Needy Shelter Dogs

We are happy to welcome Operation Blankets of Love (OBOL) to our network of dog friendly companies and dog rescue organizations.

Operation Blankets of Love is an award-winning non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that collects, transports and distributes recycled and new pet related items to comfort stray, sick, neglected and abused homeless animals in shelters, rescue groups, sanctuaries and foster groups.

In addition, Operation Blankets of Love is an Emergency Response Team, and partners with organizations to provide relief and comfort to animals displaced or endangered by catastrophe.

Operation Blankets of Love welcomes the following kinds of items:

  • Blankets
  • Towels
  • Comforters
  • Pet beds
  • Treats
  • Toys
  • Leashes
  • Collars
  • Crates
  • Carriers
  • Other pet related items

Operation Blankets of Love states that shelters do not have a budget for comfort items, and therefore donations of this type are vital. Further, they share that making pets more comfortable, relaxed and therefore adoptable. Read more about Operation Blankets of Love.
